I've been married 7 years, no kids yet, but someday, i manage a pre-school/daycare facility of about 120 kids infant to 12 years, their favorite day is cooking day.
My favorite things to cook
getting kids to try new things is a big challenge what i found that works the best is if it is easy enough for them to cook, or at least help you cook, they're are more excited to try it.
My favorite family cooking traditions
every easter, thanksgiving, christmas, valentines day, st patricks day, ect... all have a traditional meal, so your always like, "Yes! i love st.patricks day, thats when Mom cooks corned beef." and the only other time you get to have that meal is if you request it for your B-day.
My cooking triumphs
when i first got married i only had like 5 go to recipes. I am happy to say, that i Branched out and rarley have the same thing twice.
My cooking tragedies
i was a big frozen food buyer, and i would always burn them!
