About this Cook
I'm a wife of 6 years and a mom of three kids. I like quick and easy dinners but once in a while I like to try something new and a little more time consuming. I take two classes one night a week and am a SAHM.
My favorite things to cook
Whatever comes out good! lol I really like to make pie
My favorite family cooking traditions
My dad is a chef so if he tries what I make and likes it then I know I've done a good job.
My cooking triumphs
I made a great soup from a recipe on here! I also make a yummy salmon using a marinade I found on here and also pie.
My cooking tragedies

Cinnamon Apple Syrup
This was okay. I changed the serving size to 6 but still used a Tablespoon of cinnamon and it was still too much. I agree with other reviewers that a teaspoon would be sufficient and I'm a cinnamon lover!

Banana Pancakes I
The flavor was good, they were just very mushy. Next time I'll try just one banana.

Fluffy Pancakes
I made these because the reviews raved about them but honestly I am not that impressed. I guess it depends on how you like your pancakes. I've had fluffier ones from other recipes on here. You really do need to let the batter sit for a while before you fry them up otherwise they are way too dense. We had to make this twice because the first time they were horrible, barely cooking in the middle. The second time we let the batter sit and they were better but not amazing like I had hoped.
