What an easy soup to make. After reading several ratings I decided to only use a half can of beer and half can of chicken broth. I think this gave it the right blend and it did not have a beer taste. I also used 3 large cans of chicken as that is what I had on hand. It could have used more because it shreds as it cooks. Will make again.

Very tasty. If you are going to heat them for next day's use in a crock pot. Take the potatotes out of the frig and let them warm up a bit. You can also start the warming process by heating them in the microwave and then move them to the crockpot and top with butter.
