I served this at a party and it was such a hit! I didn't even include the minced onion or poppyseeds because I didn't have them. Instead I spread the dijon mustard on the top side of the buns and the butter right on top. Definitely take the tip on cutting all the buns in half instead of trying to assemble individual sandwiches.

Delicious outcome, easy to make, and calls for such simple ingredients. I was very pleased. After reading the reviews, I did decrease the salt by half. Will definitely make again!

The flavor was great and it was so easy. I wasn't sure about cooking the meatballs in the sauce but they turned out splendidly. I added fresh basil and oregano to the sauce and I think it helped a lot. I also used crushed tomatoes instead of whole. I never knew meatballs could be so delicious and easy!
