About this Cook
I love to cook. :)
My favorite things to cook
I love to create copycat versions of my fave foods.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My family ALWAYS has sausage balls and hot chocolate on Christmas morning; I look forward to that every year but I've been a vegetarian for about a year now, so I still like the smells but only hot chocolate for me.haha
My cooking triumphs
The best thing I ever made were homemade marshmallows. Nobody knew that you could make them at home.
My cooking tragedies
The worst thing I ever made was a homemade frappuccino with pectin. I had found tons of recipes stating to use that, so I did. It tasted horrible and had a really weird texture.

White Chocolate Cranberry Granola Bars
I liked these. I needed a granola bar recipe to have with fruit for a quick meal and these are WAY better than store-bought. I had to use pancake syrup because I didn't have maple, raisins instead of cranberries, dry roasted peanuts instead of walnuts and sprinkled mini chocolate chips on top. They were really delicious. The only thing I would change would be the serving size because I like granola bars to be the size of store bought- longish; these were kind of small. I loved 'em though. :)

Big Soft Ginger Cookies
These are sooooooooo good!!! These remind me of Christmas; they're chewy, moist, sweet, and slightly spicy. If you make them the size of oreos you get a ton. The only bad thing is that they are so good you can't stop eating them. :) Try putting a cream cheese filling in between to make a sandwich cookie.

Abbey's White Chocolate Latte
I LOOOOOOOOOOOOVE this recipe!!! It's prefect on a rainy day when you just want to curl up with a good book and a warm drink. :)
