Foolproof Rib Roast

Reviewed: Dec. 23, 2009
This was my first experience making rib roast and certainly not my last. I followed the directions to the tee except when I reheated the roast I only heated it to 300 degrees. I found the 375 degrees dried it out a bit. Also I just bought a pack of au jus and mixed some of the rib roast drippings and it made it so yummy.

This is restaurant quality tortilla soup,if you do the following. Add a can of rotel soup and cream of chicken. I also spicy it up with jalepeno slices and cayanne pepper. Also fix the soup up with lime, sour cream, cheese and cilantro. This recipe is super easy and taste awesome!

Parmesan Chicken II

Reviewed: Sep. 26, 2008
This recipe is very flavorful and juicy. I used the advise of another member and boiled the chicken in salted water for about 15 minutes, which cut the cooking time to about 20-25 minutes. I also added about 2 tablespoons of heavy cream to the egg mixture for a denser coating since I used egg beaters instead of an actual egg. Great quick and fast recipe.

Angel's Yummy Bruschetta

Reviewed: Sep. 25, 2008
To add a more savory flavor add a bit of sun dried tomato to the mix. I also add a little lemon juice for a little zest. Let the tomato and basil mixture set in the fridge for about 30 min for a fuller flavor.

Poulet a la Saucisse

Reviewed: Sep. 10, 2008
This one is great recipe which is fast and east to put together. I did alter this recipe to make it even better. I added mushrooms and spinach which I sauteed using olive oil. I also sauteed the italian sausage until barely brown; this speeds up the cooking process. To the stuffing mixture I added also about a 1/4 cup of mozzarella and about a teaspoon of minced garlic. Cooking the italian sausage ahead of time cut the cooking time. I only baked this in the oven 25-30 minutes. This recipe is a keeper.

Coconut Poke Cake

Reviewed: Aug. 26, 2008
This cake is wonderful. I did alter it a bit, I added coconut and vanilla extract to the whipped topping for extra flavor. I also added about a fourth of a cup of regular milk to the condensed milk mixture to thin it out a bit. This cake is very sweet, but sooo good.

Shrimp Nicholas

Using turkey bacon will work well, this will cut down on the saltyness and the fat. Marinate the shrimp in advance with Italian dressing for more flavor, about 15 minutes.

Texas Ranch Potato Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 29, 2008
This recipe was awesome and a huge hit at a Fourth of July BBQ. I added cayanne pepper for a little extra kick. I recommend cooking the potatoes when just able to pierce with a fork, cooking them too long makes the the texture a bit to mushy.

Easy Blender Salsa

Reviewed: Jul. 25, 2008
This is a super easy recipe. You can substitute Rotel (Original Flavor) instead. With Rotel you don't have to add any jalepeno peppers and Rotel is super cheap. I would definately use limes instead of lemons and adding a couple cloves of garlic will make this salsa even better.
