tamalesI wanted to learn to cook them and several has offered to show me,but it never happened so I was sitting home one day and deceided I could do it myself. Sooooo I did,all by myself.

Slow Cooker Tamale Pie
As a kid I loved tamale pie BUT it had NO beans So did not use them I did use whole kernal corn. I included chilies I also added black olives.I live alone so I eat it for a couple days. It gets better , I froze the left overs. I'll let you know how that comes out. I liked it and will make it again.

A Plus Carrot Cake
This is a reciepe I have used for years. I got it out of the Sacramento Bee (Sacramento,California)about1976. It's my families favorite.
