I baked several times and it was very good and delicious although I could not like the unique taste and smell from nutmeg. Since I do not like nutmeg, I added a little more of cinnamon instead of nutmeg. It turns out great every time I bake.

Exceptionally good!! I tried several times and it is always successful. It is easy to make and delicious. One thing I would like to comment is that sugar amount for syrup is a bit high for me. So I reduced in half and simmered the syrup about 30 minutes until it turns into slightly thick.

Very tasty cake. I think I cooked a little longer because it cracked when I rolled. It seems many of us experienced this cracking. Roll cake itself was not too sweet, which I liked it, but the frosting was kind of too sweet to my taste. I would use a whole pack of cream cheese with a half cup of confectioners' sugar next time.
