Every week my granddaughter comes for an overnight visit and we get in the kitchen and bake something. She is 3 and can handle a hand mixer quite well. My namesake on this website, ZsaZsa is what she calls me. SO cute. I used to own a catering business so I hope to share some great recipes. Any dessert creation, healthy entrees, creative salads. appetizers. Everyone used to gather at my house for holidays, bithday and other celebrations. I would get the opportunity to try new dishes on my crowd. All the neices and nephews are grown up now and moved away. I really miss those gatherings. I have won several blue ribbons in baking events, but the best was the First Annual Holiday Bake-Off at a local historical hotel during the Christmas season a few years back. I won some great prizes and got a real nice article written in the newspapaer about me and my dessert. Almost a tradgedy.....I was always trying not to disappoint clients by "squeezing" in their order even if I was overbooked. One busy Christmas season, I booked 9 events in one day and all had different foods requested. I enlisted every helper I could get at the last minute. The only disaster was the kitchen, and when the last order was delivered and set-up, we all met back at the kitchen to clean. We had made several small sandwiches and had crust laying around everywhere.....we were all so tired and happy that the day was over, we had a huge bread fight! FUN!
