Easy Iced Coffee
Very easy, very good. My wallet and my waistline(skim milk) say thanks. Edit 10/31/09 to say: I've made this every day since I found this recipe. My friend suggested adding a few drops of coconut extract. I also like to add cinnamon extract. I premix 1 part hi-test coffee, 1 part de-caf, and 1 part sweetener in a large canister. I have saved at least $50/month by making my own and countless calories by using skim milk. This is a winner on every level.

Spaghetti Sauce II
This turned out so very thick and so very delicious. I doubled the recipe, used the slow-cooker and froze several containers. Next time, I'll make the sauce without meat and add sausage or meatballs when I serve it. Sooo much better than store-bought and the house smelled wonderful.

Quick Pickled Eggs and Beets
Our family recipe calls for brown sugar and cider vinegar and 4-5 days(we like them deeply purple) in the back of the refrigerator. They have to stay in the back because they disappear from the front!:) I will try the cinnamon this time.
