My daughter LOVES these as does my hubby. It is a great basic recipe where you can mix and match the "flavor" combinations and totally make it your own. I've already made this a few times and since I'm not a big fan of chocolate chips in my granola bars I substituted raisens, cranberries, chopped walnuts, slivered almonds, diced dried apple and cinnimon (not all at the same time mind you). I also opted to use a sheet pan instead of a 9x13 and pressed the mixture down into it with my rolling pin. My bars don't fall apart but aren't hard either.
