I am a married mother of 3 ages 12,8 and 5. I really love to bake. My love for cooking started about 8 years ago when I quit full-time work to stay home with my kids.My dream would be to go to culinary school. To me there is nothing more rewarding than having your family and friends tell you what a great meal you have made! I don't have a favorite thing to make, although it seems that I make chicken and pasta dishes alot because it always pleases the kids. I think like many, Christmas and Thanksgiving are my favorites.Thankfully I learned how to make perogies from my grandmother which is always served at the holidays. I wish I could make cabbage rolls like she did. Most of my cooking triumphs come from baking. I always make my childrens' birthday cakes. There reaction to seeing them makes me feel great! There have been so many! I feel very sorry for my husband in the early years of our marriage when he politely ate what I put in front of him.
