About this Cook
I moved to LA and got inspired by the mix of cultures and there food. I love having all this variety around me.
My favorite things to cook
Right now, tuna, grilled cheese, and oatmeal....livin' large!
My favorite family cooking traditions
The holidays and all the food, cooking with the family is the best!! Mac and Cheese, mashed potatos, desserts!
My cooking triumphs
Everytime I try something new and it turns out edible I am excited!
My cooking tragedies
Gingersnap cookies from a mix, maybe the mix was old but they turned out grainy and gross!! I am also great at forgeting about things in the oven and having them melt, burn, or catch fire.

Melt In Your Mouth Toffee
Really yummy! I didn't survive the night. *resist the urge to stir the mixture when it begins to boil*

Cranberry Oatmeal Bars
Really yummy, I used canola oil and yogurt instead of egg and butter. A very simple and tasty recipe.

Black Bean Rice Burgers
Great flavor, but mine didn't hold together to well, I don't think I mashed the black beans enough. Despite the lack of cohesion, they still got eaten.
