Stuffed Green Peppers I
I really liked this recipe; although I made a few tweaks. First off, I used green/red peppers because I think they give off a better flavor. Also, I used chicken broth for everything that called for water (since I used ground turkey). I also added a good bit of paprika, minced garlic and garlic powder to the mix while I was cooking it. I used a whole can of broth instead of 1/2 a cup, because the rice took longer to tenderize and it kept getting dryer than I prefer. There is nothing worse than a dry stuffed pepper! They came out really great! I was cooking for a friend of mine, and she said they were the best stuffed peppers she ever had!
