Apple Crisp II

Oh my, this is yummy! The only thing I did differently is substitute allspice for the nutmeg. It could probably use a little less chocolate chips, and I've never said anything like that before! The more chocolate, the better! However, I think the chocolate chips overpower the apple flavor a little. It was delish though!

Oat-rageous Cookies

These are super yummy! However, I think that there's so much 'stuff' in them, that there doesn't seem to be enough dough. Therefore, they always turn out very thin and crispy. Maybe it's just me. In any case, they're delicious!!!

Strawberry Mojito

Easy Red Beans and Rice

I think this is yummy! I agree that it is not a "traditional" red beans and rice recipe. However, it is very good! I omit the meat and add some shredded sharp cheddar on top - YUM!

Chicken Parmesan Casserole

This was OK. My kids loved it, but it's kind of bland. It's a great quick and easy meal. I agree with others that some seasonings or something should be added. I followed the advice of adding more sauce. Two cups is definitely not enough! I'll probably make it again, but I'll definitely add some basil, oregano or Italian seasoning.

Baked French Fries II

SO yummy! This recipe is so simple and so delicious! We've only made it twice and each time, our guests have asked for the recipe. I too put the seasonings in a bag and then added the potatoes and found it much easier that way! Great recipe - thanks!

Zucchini Pasta II

This was so yummy! I didn't have any roasted red peppers, so I left them out. I also left out the red pepper flakes since my kids don't like things too spicy and hot. Everyone loved it and my husband (who is kind of picky) said "definitely make this again!"

Quick Chicken Divan

Good in a pinch. I usually don't care for condensed soup recipes, but I was running out of time and needed something quick and easy. I didn't have cream of mushroom so I used a can of cream of broccoli with the cream of chicken. It turned out pretty good and the kids loved it!

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

3 words: YUM, YUM, YUM!!! I used to think a chocolate chip cookie was a chocolate chip cookie...until I found this recipe! They are soft, yet slightly crisp on the outside. The only thing I did differently was add a lot more vanilla. I think I added 1 1/2 Tbs. I will definitely be making this one again!

Broccoli Chicken Casserole III

This was good. I left out the olives since I didn't have any. I liked the curry. I don't care for the condensed soup taste, so I thought only one can was good - the sour cream balanced it out. This was a good, easy, quick meal. I just happened to have everything on hand!

Pecan Pie Bars I

These are awesome! I had no trouble with the bake time, although I baked them in a Pampered Chef stoneware pan. They came out perfect. I added a little more nuts. A friend of mine who supposedly doesn't like pecan pie said, "I think you just turned me into a pecan pie lover!" And others thought they were better than pecan pie! This one's a keeper!

White Zinfandel Chicken

Yummy! We used an extra tablespoon of olive oil in the marinade as someone else suggested. Also, we didn't have white zin, so we tried balsamic vinegar. Wow! Very flavorful!
