About this Cook
47, mother of 2 children and 4 furbabies(a dog, two cats and a ferret), avid knitter, writer, reader and all around goof ball.
My favorite things to cook
frozen pizza, frozen chicken, hot dogs and french fries. hamburgers and french fries.
My favorite family cooking traditions
none really. im just starting to cook and recently realized that food that isnt burnt sometimes tastes better than charcoaled briquettes. i can fry chicken, but prefer it baked with skin on.
My cooking triumphs
ive made two successful slow-cooked bean soups by myself. im experimenting as i go. so good is good when it happens right.
My cooking tragedies
beans and rice with hamburgers. it sucked and tasted like watery soup. bad me. i also burned black beans to about a cinder. chicken soup that tasted like bland, watery beans with flavorless chicken. nothing made it better that time.
