I am 25 and have been happily married for 4 years. I especially enjoy cooking now that I have a "professional taste-tester" in the house! Baking is by far my favorite thing to do, but I love all other kinds of cooking as well. My favorite time of year is winter, when I can enjoy making soups, stews and other hearty things that "stick to your ribs!" Every year at Christmas, my mother and grandmother and I would make peppernuts. The holiday season holds so many special traditions, it'd take forever to name them all! I also enjoy working with kids in the kitchen and coming up with fun things! My first cake- I made all by myself when I was 8 years old. I still have a picture of me holding it; not only did I frost the cake, but the whole platter it was on, too! I pulled off my first "in-law" meal, served 22 people for Thanksgiving, recently as well! Pear pie!!
