Zesty Slow Cooker Chicken Barbecue
I made this for dinner tonight and served it on Kaiser rolls. It smelled and looked great but was WAY too sweet for us. I thawed the breasts and cooked them in chicken broth on high for 3 hours, drained the broth, shredded the chicken and then put it back in with the rest of the ingredients (plus some onion, bell pepper and garlic). Very easy. I will try again without any brown sugar. We were really disappointed with the sweetness - it smelled so good!

Grilled Peanut Butter and Banana Sandwich
I make a sandwich very similar to this. Since there are so many calories in it, we split it 3 or 4 ways so it's always a real treat when I make it. I saw the recipe for the pb/banana sandwich that Elvis Presley's cook used to make for him on his biography on TV. I never wrote it down so have always gone from my memory which could be wrong. :-) Here's how I make mine. I use 2 slices of white bread, toast it, spread peanut butter on both pieces, slice up a small banana and put on one piece of toast, then put other toast on top. Fry it up in some butter until heated. Sooooo good!

My Kid's Favorite Pork Chops
We absolutely loved this recipe! I only had 2 chops so had to scale the recipe. Didn't have beer so used coke and no steak seasoning so used a season-all seasoning. They turned out so scrumptious - can't wait to make them again - with beer this time. Hubby used the sauce left in the pan over his baked potato and proclaimed it the best potato "gravy" he ever had. Every bit of sauce and onion got eaten. Mmmmmm!!!
