About this Cook
I'm 16 years old, and I've been baking cookies since i was a little girl with my mom. Now I make most of the cookies, and I'm always willing to take the task of supper time. I try to stay away from the food myself at the moment, but that doesn't keep me away from cooking, which is basically my passion. I like cooking/baking and seeing other people be happy, and I believe that I make other people happy by cooking for them. I'm not your "average" teenage girl. I listen to heavy metal music that would scare most people, and at the same time I like to sew. I'm a member of my highschool's marching band, where I play the saxophone. I have a cat, Foxy, and a dog, Brady, and I live with my mother, father, and two younger brothers.
My favorite things to cook
I'm a freak about baking cookies. I love baking all sorts of cookies, cakes, brownies, pies, all that stuff. I basically love baking, it makes people so happy. I also love cooking with chicken. I love trying out new marinades. Any thing that I can make look "pretty" is nice, too, and I like to use fruits and vegetables whilst cooking.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I just like baking cookies for Christmas time. I like all of the yummy foods that we need to make for family get togethers, making noodles, all that jazz.
My cooking triumphs
Cookies, of course. I'm a big cookie fan. My chocolate chip cookies always turn out great, as well as my peanut butter cookies.
My cooking tragedies
The occasional "forgetting to put the eggs" into a recipe. Woops. I'm also not the greatest at making stir-fried rice right now, something just doesn't seem to turn out right.

Lower Fat Banana Bread I
Wow! This recipe was SO good! We had some bananas that I knew weren't going to be eaten, so I decided to find a recipe for banana bread. It was my first time I ever made banana bread, and it turned out amazing. I used applesauce instead of butter, and 3 egg whites instead of 2 eggs, and got a fat free bread!
