Caramel Apple Pork Chops

Oh My God these were delish!!!! I wasn't sure about the sweet caramel sauce with meat but it was perfect. My husband was floored it was so good. I used granny smith apples and next time I will double the sauce to make more caramel goodness to drizzle over the chops. I used thick cut pork chops so I had to cook them for about 20 min. instead of the 5min. the recipe states. A new family favorite.

Pecan Pie V

Nacho Cheese Sauce

First time making nacho cheese and it turned out great. I used white american cheese and made loaded nachos. Not only did it taste great but it looked great. I had to add a little more milk to make it thinner but that wasn't a big deal. Great recipe, I imagine you can use any cheese you want. This is perfect for fondue.

Bacon for the Family or a Crowd

I decided to bake my bacon this morning because I just cleaned my kitchen and didn't want to make a mess. I wasn't sure about the recipe but I will never fry bacon again. I cooked on 375 for 1/2 hour and put the bacon on a cooling rack on top of the baking sheet so all the bacon grease would drain onto the baking sheet and leave crispy bacon. It turned out perfect!!

Sugar Cookie Icing

This is the best cookie icing. It's so shiney and sets up perfectly. I had to add extra milk but then I added to much milk so I had to add more powdered sugar to fix it. It all turned out and my cookies were a hit.

The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies

First time I have ever made sugar cookies and this recipe is so good. I made them for favors for a baby shower and everyone raved about them. The cookie is so moist. This recipe is a keeper.

Sticky Monkey Brains

I made in one big bundt pan and it took forever to cook (50 min)so everyone was done eating breakfast by the time it was finished. The outside got really dark and crispy but I had to cook that long so the inside was done. Not as gooey as I hoped for. I will try again and make smaller pans next time. I think I prefer cinnamon rolls.

Giant Chocolate Chip Cookie

Made in a 12 inch aluminum disposable pizza pan and turned out excellent. The cookie was so moist and baked perfectly. I piped frosting on top and served as a birthday cookie. I will def. make this again. Super easy and super delicious!!

German Chocolate Cake III

I personally don't like German chocolate cake (icky coconut) but my husband loves it and requested it as his birthday cake this year. I made two layers instead of three and I didn't put the chocolate glaze on at the end. I don't think it was needed and I was to tired by the time I was done making the cake and frosting it. It still turned out great. All my guests including my husband said it was the BEST German choc. cake they had ever tasted. It is labor intensive but I guess worth it because everyone loved it!!

Grandma Ople's Apple Pie

This was a great apple pie and super easy to make. I just can't believe there is no cinnamon in this recipe. I made the recipe as is but will make sure to add cinnamon next time. It just gives it that extra flavor. Served with vanilla ice cream and caramel sauce.

Broccoli with Garlic Butter and Cashews

My husband loved it, but I thought it was ok. All the sauce was just sitting on the bottom of the serving bowl. I don't know if I like the soy sauce and broccoli combo. It was a nice alternative for a side dish.

Too Much Chocolate Cake

This is the BEST chocolate cake recipe. I can see why it won awards!! I overcooked it a little, I'm never any good at judging bundt cakes but it still was extremly moist. The best part are the melted chocolate chips in the cake. I made a chocolate glaze to go over the top and served with chocolate covered strawberries. It was a hit at Easter.

Satiny Chocolate Glaze

Was the perfect glaze to go on my chocolate bundt cake that I made for Easter. I read the other reviews about it being like frosting but I don't think they let it melt long enough. It was prefect to drizzle and even set up hard so I could wrap the cake in saran wrap. I didn't have to alter the recipe at all.

Italian Beef Sandwiches

OMG!!! These were by far the BEST Italian Beef Sandwiches I have EVER had. I spread butter on the buns and baked them for 5 min. on 450 degrees than I put 2 slices of provolone cheese and melted for a couple of min. I like banana peppers on mine so I added those also. The au jus was excellent. I bought sliced roast beef but I will buy shaved next time.

Cheddar Baked Chicken

I really liked this recipe although I thought there was to much butter. My husband and I both ate 2 pieces (which equal one chicken breast) so not sure how you can get 6 servings out of this recipe. Will cut down butter next time.

Brown Sugar Meatloaf

I did not like this recipe at all but my husband thought it was pretty good so I decided to give it 4 stars. If I ever make this again, I will put the brown sugar and ketchup on the top of the meat, Maybe it would have given it more flavor. For some reason my loaf wouldn't stay together when I was slicing it so it left a messy presentation. Not sure why this got so many 5 stars. Needs more flavor!!

Denise's Peanut Chicken

We were so disappointed with this recipe. We took a couple of bites but did not care for it. The chicken had no flavor at all and the sauce never thickened up and it didn't have a good flavor. Try the Thai Peanut Chicken recipe on here, it's sooo much better.

Restaurant-Style Buffalo Chicken Wings

My superbowl guests thought these were good. They said the sauce wasn't hot enough so next time I will add more hot sauce and maybe a little less butter. I made the mistake and mixed the first batch in the sauce while the second batch were still cooking which made the breading soggy so wait until they are all done frying and then dip them in the sauce.
