About this Cook
I am 27 years old. I have been married for 3 years to my wonderful husband. We have a 2 year old teacup yorkie who we adore. My husband loves when I bake and cook and will eat anything I put on the table. I love to try new recipes and found many new favorites from allrecipes.com.
My favorite things to cook
I LOVE to bake cookies, bars, and cakes. I also like to make appetizers and always volunteer to bring appetizers and desserts to parties.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I am Italian so we have many favorite cooking traditions. The big one is the sauce and meatballs every Sunday for dinner. My family makes an awesome antipesto salad, baked mushrooms and my favorite breaded artichokes that are at every family party.
My cooking triumphs
I am a good baker so I have made a lot of great cookies and cakes over the years. I have been baking since Junior High School and I used to bake my brothers cookies every week. I get a lot of requests for my chocolate chip cookies, and the peanut butter cup cookies (on allrecipes).
My cooking tragedies
I can not make a pie crust for the life of me. They are just not good and prefer the frozen already made pie crusts.

Bacon for the Family or a Crowd
I decided to bake my bacon this morning because I just cleaned my kitchen and didn't want to make a mess. I wasn't sure about the recipe but I will never fry bacon again. I cooked on 375 for 1/2 hour and put the bacon on a cooling rack on top of the baking sheet so all the bacon grease would drain onto the baking sheet and leave crispy bacon. It turned out perfect!!

Sugar Cookie Icing
This is the best cookie icing. It's so shiney and sets up perfectly. I had to add extra milk but then I added to much milk so I had to add more powdered sugar to fix it. It all turned out and my cookies were a hit.

The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies
First time I have ever made sugar cookies and this recipe is so good. I made them for favors for a baby shower and everyone raved about them. The cookie is so moist. This recipe is a keeper.
