About this Cook
I am 29 years old. I have been married for 5 years to my wonderful husband. We just had our first baby last summer that changed our lives. We have a 3 year old teacup yorkie who we adore. My husband loves when I bake and cook and will eat anything I put on the table. I love to try new recipes and found many new favorites from
My favorite things to cook
I LOVE to bake cookies, bars, and cakes. I also like to make appetizers and always volunteer to bring appetizers and desserts to parties. My husband is the cookie monster and I can't make enough of them.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I am Italian so we have many favorite cooking traditions. The big one is the sauce and meatballs every Sunday for dinner. My family makes an awesome antipesto salad, baked mushrooms and my favorite breaded artichokes that are at every family party.
My cooking triumphs
I am a good baker so I have made a lot of great cookies and cakes over the years. I have been baking since Junior High School and I used to bake my brothers cookies every week. I get a lot of requests for my chocolate chip cookies, and the peanut butter cup cookies (on allrecipes).
My cooking tragedies
I can not make a pie crust for the life of me. They are just not good and prefer the frozen already made pie crusts.

Rich and Creamy Tomato Basil Soup
I thought I hated tomato soup until I tried this recipe. It's delicious!! So flavorful and beats that nasty Campbell's any day.

Chicken Florentine Casserole
Great easy dinner. I grilled my chicken before putting in the oven and the chicken had a great taste. Served over fettucine pasta. Next time I won't add so much cheese but the sause was delicious!!

Gourmet Chicken Pizza
Weird!! The ranch dressing as the sauce didn't do it for us. We did grill the chicken first which gave it an awesome flavor. We also determined we don't like Phillsbury crust. I suggest making your own.
