Modified this recipe to make it lighter and more natural. i used only 1/3 cup of sugar and squeezed in two lemons instead of lemonade mix. Chopped the mint instead of crushed and let it float around the ice cubes. it's really light and refreshing!

Sweet Potato Potato Salad

This is a really great recipe. We used the small red potatoes with the skin on and added black olives to give it more color and flavor. Also added a tsp of white vinegar and a tsp of lemon pepper to give it a little extra kick. The sweet potatoes give a sweet twist to traditional potato salad. Went really well with our 4th of July bbq dinner!

Strawberry Bread

This bread is really yummy! I took the advice of other reviewers and added 4 cups of strawberries instead of 2. I mashed half of the strawberries with the batter and then added 2 cups of sliced strawberries. I used slivered almonds in the bread and then used sliced almonds on top for a nice crust. came out so tasty! I did bake it for 60 minutes and it was still barely done, if you have an older oven like mine, I suggest a longer baking time. five stars :)

To Die For Blueberry Muffins

these are amazingly good! such a simple recipe and so tasty! i love the crumb topping, but don't put too much or the muffins won't rise. when i made a second batch, i just lightly sprinkled the topping on and they turned out awesome!

All-Around Good Smoothie

i made this smoothie without the flax seed and protein supplement and replaced the plain yogurt with vanilla flavored. it was so yummy! another good combo to try is a mango and peach with the bananna. very tropical! i make these smoothies with different combinations of fruit almost every day now. love them for a light dessert!

Banana Crumb Muffins

this recipe was very simple and easy to follow, but i'm not sure why it got 2,500 five-star ratings. the muffins were moist and tasty, but not five-star delicious. maybe i was just expecting more since it was hyped up so much. pretty good simple bannana muffins.
