Sweet and Sour Kielbasa

Reviewed: Jan. 26, 2009
Eating this for dinner tonight, just waiting for my rice to finish cooking. I love kielbasa and this is good recipe if your looking to try something different. I did change it up a little bit and followed others suggestions. I cooked my kielbasa on the stove for an hour. I only used 1 cup of tomato sauce(i'm out of ketchup!) and only 4 tbs of butter an 2 tbs of viniger. No lemon juice and added an extra tbs of worchestor sauce an extra tbs of brown sugar. I forgot to reduce the amount of water so my sauce is thin but it still tastes great! I will definetly make again :)

Slow Cooker Honey Garlic Chicken

Reviewed: Oct. 14, 2008
This wasn't so great...just okay really. i followed the recipe but used chicken breast instead. it didn't seem to have that much flavor so i added a little bit more honey, cayenne pepper and a dash of chinese 5 spice which made it taste better. the sauce was very watery so i transfered it to a saucepan to thicken it up. served it over jasmine rice with broccoli. boyfriend liked it but i don't think i will be making this one again atleast not in the slow cooker. this would come out way better on the stove or even baked in the oven.

Easy Mac and Cheese Soup

Reviewed: Sep. 19, 2008
i'm in the process of cooking this in my crock pot right now. i didn't use ham because i don't like it to much but i did use kielbasa in place. other than that i followed everything exactly, added S&P. it looks like it will turn out yummy. i can't wait to eat it!

Honey Walnut Shrimp

Reviewed: Sep. 16, 2008
hands down the best meal i have ever made with shrimp! it was soooo amazing and a lot easier to make than i thought it would be. my boyfriend and i ate ALL of it in one sitting. i made extra sauce too nd served it with steamed broccoli and jasmine rice. SO GOOD...i did add a dash of cinnamon and vanilla extract to the walnuts while i boiled them, then reserved some of the liquid to add to the sauce. wheni made the sauce i used an extra T of honey and condensed milk and also added 1/4c of fat free milk too. i didn't want the sauce to be so thick the way it was before i added the milk and reserved liquid from the walnuts. i also used flour for the breading because thats what i had...anyway, it is definetly something i will be making again!

Grilled Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwich

Reviewed: Sep. 16, 2008
this is so good! i decided to add a slice of swiss cheese to see how it tasted and it added a yummmmy extra flavor but is also great without it. you just have to make this sandwich i don't see why anyone wouldn't love it! just make sure you have plenty of napkins to clean up the gooey insides that squirt out!

Blonde Brownies

Reviewed: Sep. 15, 2008
these were just what i was looking for! i made with butter instead of shortening and left out the nuts because i didn't have them. i also was low on brown sugar so i could only use one cup and had to add a 1/2 cup of white sugar...still turned out amazing! next time i make these tho i will add the nuts and not use the white sugar and i bet they will be even better. Thanks for the recipe :)
