Brooke's Best Bombshell Brownies
first of all, i am not much of a baker. my problem with baking brownies is always the same issue: burnt edges and usually hard brownies. i wanted to try this recipe because of the high ratings and figured it would make my batch better than how they usually come out. unfortunetly i still got the hard burnt edges but after eating these the next day they taste pretty good. i added white chocolate chips and pecans. i want to continue to experiment with this recipe and work on my baking skills so i can make my brownies the way i expect them to be. thank you brooke for a great recipe :)

Fantastic Black Bean Chili
First of all, i always make my chili with ground turkey so when i saw this recipe i knew i had to try it. It is a great recipe and can easily be modified to suit one's taste. i omitted the red wine vinegar and basil. i added worchestershire sauce, a little tabasco, cumin and used a can of dieced tomatoes with chilies. i cooked my turkey in about a 1/2c of chicken broth. i also added corn. we garnished our chili with colby/jack cheese, avocado slices and a dollop of sour cream. next time i think topping with a little fresh cilantro would be good too. thanks for the recipe, it's a keeper!!

Sweet and Sour Kielbasa
Eating this for dinner tonight, just waiting for my rice to finish cooking. I love kielbasa and this is good recipe if your looking to try something different. I did change it up a little bit and followed others suggestions. I cooked my kielbasa on the stove for an hour. I only used 1 cup of tomato sauce(i'm out of ketchup!) and only 4 tbs of butter an 2 tbs of viniger. No lemon juice and added an extra tbs of worchestor sauce an extra tbs of brown sugar. I forgot to reduce the amount of water so my sauce is thin but it still tastes great! I will definetly make again :)
