About this Cook
Lemme see....I'm 25, I love cooking, but only when I have someone to cook for! I sometimes wish times were not so fast paced and a dual income wan't so necessary because I wish I could stay home and bake, and cook and make a healthy home for myself and my loed ones....sigh...perhaps one day!
My favorite things to cook
ohhhhh.....it a tough call.....especilly after finding this site! I like everything! I guess what I really enjoy cooking are things that I really know and have tried many times so I KNOW they will turn out!
My favorite family cooking traditions
PASTA!!!!!!
My cooking triumphs
I made...honest to goodness, restaurant style chinese food once. It tasted just like the real thing! I'm still working on the perfect loaf of white bread, but that will come!
My cooking tragedies
too many to count, please ont let me relive the horror! Ususally my tragedies are baking related (I'm just learning) but once I burnt a simple 'ol pot of tomato soup.

Sunday Dinner Rolls
I used my bread macine for the dough and then followed the rising instructions as posted. I substituted water for milk and oil fro butter and the result was AM-A-ZING! Buttery, soft and very moist! I will use this as my standard bun recipe from now on!

Dash's Donair
This is really good! WOW! I doubled up the spices in my beef as I like a lot of flavour. The only suggestion I would make would be to change the preparation of the sauce. If you gradually add the vinegar, you wont get a nice thick sweet sauce. Instead, add the vinegar all at once and give it just a few whisks. Over stirring it will make it too thin.
