Spinach Salad with Honey Dressing

What a fantastic salad! I made this for a party with some friends & it was GONE! Everyone raved about it, and I've already been told that it's the new favorite & have been ordered to bring it to the next party. I followed the recipe pretty close, except I doubled the bacon. I also used a honeycrisp apple, which gave great crunch & flavor.

Kalua Pig in a Slow Cooker

This was one of the easiest pork roasts I have ever made, and quite possibly one of the most flavorful. I was a little hesitant about leaving it in the crock pot for 18 hours, but it turned out perfectly. I would agree with other reviews that it's a good idea to siphon off some of the fat from the juices before putting it all back in the crock pot after shredding the pork. I ended up adding a touch more sea salt & liquid smoke when i turned the roast at 8:00 am. I may add a little bit of garlic next time, but was overall very happy with the original recipe.

Zippy Summer Shrimp

This dish was easy & very flavorful. I even got a "yeah, you can make this one again" from my husband, which is a pretty solid compliment from him. I didn't have any red pepper flakes, so I used a touch of cayenne, which gave it a little heat. We will definitely make this one again!

Scrambled Egg Muffins

These were good, and easy to make. It worked out well for our family, because I could tailor them for each person (no sausage for the vegetarian & no cheese for the lactose allergic). Make sure to grease the tins well, because they tend to stick.

Sloppy Joes II

This recipe was fantastic. I followed previous suggestions and did half ketchup and half hickory barbeque sauce. I also added a splash of vinegar and a splash of Worcester sauce. Perfect!

Emily's Easy Sausage and Spicy Tomato Dip

This is the best dip! I use Jimmy Dean Hot sausage. Great flavor. Have made this recipe countless times and there is never any leftovers. Definitely 5 stars!
