Peach Ice Cream

Reviewed: Aug. 4, 2009
This was so easy to make and came out tasting absolutely amazing! I had hundreds of peaches from my peach tree that I didn't know what to do with. This was an easy way to use some of them. It's creamy and rich. Maybe it was a little too sweet, but I'm not complaining.

Chicken Fried Steak I

A good base for a chicken fried steak, but I made sure to add my own seasonings. Meat came out wonderful.

Basic Crepes

So simple and easy to make! I added a couple of tablespoons of sugar to make a sweet crepe then added some nutella and strawberries to the finished product. It reminded me of my favorite crepe place. Absolutely wonderful!

Slow Cooker London Broil

Reviewed: Jun. 3, 2009
This was no spectacular at all. I did as many suggest with the Worcestershire and red wine vinegar, but I was not at all impressed. I added two white onions, sliced and cooked on low for 8 hours. I shredded the meat then put it on rolls for sandwiches. It made for an o-k sandwich, but definitely not the greatest.

Easy Grilled Tri Tip

This wasn't the greatest recipe ever. It wasn't the worse either. It was somewhere in between. It lacked something for sure.

It's Chili by George!!

Reviewed: Feb. 22, 2009
Like most other reviewers I found that this was a good base for a chili. I added my own touches by using bell peppers, crushed tomatoes instead of tomato juice and garlic at the beginning. Made some cornbread to go along side of it and had a wonderful meal.

Guy Approved Meatloaf

Reviewed: Dec. 28, 2008
This was truly an awesome meatloaf! I took the suggestions left by others and used seasoned bread crumbs and slathered the top with barbecue sauce. Also doubled the recipe and added peeled, sliced in half russet potatoes along the side of the meatloaf (cooked in a big lasagna pan). I think we've found our family recipe for meatloaf with this one!

I had never had lamb before but I used this recipe on some lamb chops and talk about perfection! My husband doesn't like lamb but this recipe changed his mind.

Vanilla Ice Cream V

Reviewed: Aug. 18, 2008
Awesome! My grandma, the home-made ice cream queen who says "it aint ice cream unless its got eggs in it" loved LOVED this recipe. Thats a great compliment from someone who's so picky. It was easy to make and as suggested, you should dissolve the sugar in the half and half first. It does make the difference.

Absolutely fantastic! The best sloppy joe recipe I've ever cooked. We couldn't stop eating them even after we were full. So good. Now our family staple.

Super-Simple, Super-Spicy Mongolian Beef

Reviewed: Aug. 11, 2008
This was an amazing recipe. It was so easy and simple to make and the flavor was all there. I'm definitely happy that I used the whole tbs of red pepper flakes as it was just enough kick for me (a little too much for my husband though). Will make again and again.

Dill Gazpacho

My husband wasn't to crazy about the dill, but I personally found it to be absolutely amazing. What a wonderful way to eat my vegetables. I added more olive oil and balsamic vinegar and some sour cream and it tasted great. Will make again and again.

Pork Tenderloin in Bourbon

Reviewed: Jun. 13, 2008
Absolutely loved this recipe. Followed the directions but doubled up on the marinade and added more sugar. As suggested by many other comments, I used the marinade for a gravy and it was fabulous. I added about a cup of chicken stock and it came out perfect! Will definitely make again and again as my husband also loved this recipe and can't stop thanking me "for the best meal we've had in weeks."
