Peppermint Bark

This was just great and I don't really even like white chocolate! I was in a rush so I stuck it in the freezer. It hardened quickly and worked like a charm.

Whit's Chicken Enchiladas

I've made these twice now and they are so wonderful. The first time I followed the directions exactly. Last night I added mushrooms, red peppers and spinach to the pan when I was sauteing the garlic, jalepeno, etc. It was even better. This is a perfect enchilada recipe in my book - my whole family agrees.

Artichoke Tetrazzini

I LOVED this recipe. I used 4 cubes of very concentrated, frozen homemade chicken broth instead of canned. I also cubed chicken and sauteed it in lemon juice and seasoning salt. I almost left out the artichoke marinade, fearing it would make it too thin but I'm so glad I did not. The sauce is a bit thin even with the lesser quantity of chicken broth but the flavor is fabulous and I don't mind at all! This is one of the best recipes I have tried off this site!

Peanut Butter Vegetable Chicken Soup

I was just not too crazy about this soup. I made it according to the directions and left nothing out but when it was done it was just a bit bland to me. I juiced one lime in it and added about 1/2 cup sour cream and it was much tastier to me. I think cilantro would have also been a really good addition, but I didn't have any. I just added some red pepper flakes and green onions to it for my husband when he gets home but I haven't tried it that way yet. I'll have to try it tomorrow for leftovers.

Sweet Russian Cabbage Soup

This was good but I didn't think it was great. It was a bit too sweet for me. It made WAY more than 4 servings, which is good. We are a family of 6 and we have enough leftovers for dinner tonight. My husband loved it, which is strange because I usually have more of a sweet tooth than he does.

Big Soft Ginger Cookies

DELICOUS! It was hard not to just eat so much dough that there were no cookies to bake. We added a bit of vanilla and rolled them in coarse sugar.

Hasty Chocolate Pudding

This recipe was very good and so easy. I added a little salt & butter with the vanilla at the end. Then when it had cooled very slightly I stirred in choc chips and bananas. If only I had some whipped cream to top it off with.....

Italian Sausage, Peppers, and Onions

We loved this! I added cabbage, sliced apples, walnuts and a bit of brown sugar. I also used chicken sausage. We served it over fettuccine. Very good, simple recipe.

Roasted Garlic Lemon Broccoli

Beer Cheese Soup I

I really loved this soup! This has to be one of the best soups I've made/eaten - and I don't like beer! I didn't have any califlower but used potatoes, adding them with all the other veggies. I added a bit of sour cream in the end and I had less than a bottle of beer to put in it but you could still taste it. We topped it with additional parmesan cheese.
