I am a happy wife and mother of almost 5. I love baking bread. Challah is my specialty. My favorite dinner recipes is Chicken Souvlaki and homemade Pizza. My mom makes really good pies and cookies. When I was growing up all the kids in the neighborhood loved to come to our house because my mom always had a full cookie jar ready to share. The most triumphant I ever felt in the kitchen was the first year I made Thanksgiving dinner all by myself for our families. It turned out really good and it was the first Turkey I ever made. When I was probably 8 yrs old or so I made my first pie. I made it with sour cherries and accidentally used salt instead of sugar. I think I remember my mom gagging down a peice and telling me it was 'not that bad'. :)
