This was my first sweet potato pie, and wow! I followed the recipe for the pie, and it turned out beautifully - although I can see how adding two tablespoons of flour might help the filling to set better. I did add a Caramel Pecan topping to the pie before baking. It turned out like a dream: Caramel Nut Topping (from cooks.com) 1 c. chopped pecans 1/4 c. butter, melted 1/4 c. light brown sugar This pie will be a new family tradition.

This was surprisingly delicious dish. I followed the recipe exactly (using fresh cranberries), and it turned out beautifully. Although, I think I should have boiled the sweet potatoes about 5 minutes less. This is a fantastic dish to serve with coffee or tea at the end of hearty Autumn meal. I suggest doubling-to-tripling the topping, though, to cover the whole dish.

Excellent recipe. I followed it to the letter and it turned out beautifully. Definitely better than any cream of chicken soup pot pie I've tried in the past. Two pies gone in two days!
