Deep South Fried Chicken

Real tasty chicken! Took about an hour total from prep to finished cooking. Definitely wish I had added more salt and pepper. Crunch and texture were great, but flavor was a little flat.

Jalapeno Cranberry Sauce

Very nice sauce! Very little kick as far as the spicy factor goes, since the seeds were all removed from the jalapenos. I could not find fresh or frozen cranberries, so I used a can of whole cranberry sauce, which may have added some extra sweetness and flavor. Absolutely loved it! Made two whole jars from this recipe. Great with chicken and tofu-meat (i.e. tofurkey!). Really adds some flavor to boring meat!

Classy Green Bean Casserole

Sweet Potato Casserole II

Delicious! Just like my childhood memories! I prepared it with canned yams, and I felt the results were excellent! I also added just a little bit more marshmallows, to cover the entire top. Excellent! No leftovers!

Sara's Pumpkin Pie

I made the recipe as directed, and I found it to be soupy, which made for a disastrous trip from the table to the oven! The pie came out tasting delicious! However, it didn't look so pretty, since the pie filling had spilled out over one side, so the crust got partially covered.

Tilapia with Creamy Sauce

I absolutely loved it! My boyfriend said that the cream cheese was inappropriate. I happen to love cream cheese, so perhaps that's why I feel so differently about this dish. Throwing in some extra dill never hurt anyone either.

Carrot Muffins

This was an instant favourite for me! They are filling and tasty! My only complaint is that they are slightly dry. A few seconds in the microwave and a small smear of vegan butter cures that!

Bread Bowls

I had high expectations. I tried to make two enormous bowls, but they turned out quite un-round and under-cooked in some places. I will try the recipe again divided into more servings.
