Red Beans and Rice
Spectacular and simple recipe. While it in no way resembles red beans and rice like they make in New Orleans, this is still just a top notch recipe. I followed the advice of other commenters here and added 1/4-1/2 tsp of cayenne pepper, cumin, garlic powder and chili powder to spice this dish up. Definitely made a difference. I also left out the bell pepper, but it still came out great. Highly recommended. My boyfriend asked me to cook this again less than a week later.
