Very disappointing. Too much lemon flavor and they didn't brown at all. It's possible I cut the wedges too large, but regardless we didn't like this at all.

This was my first-ever apple pie from scratch and it was so easy and simple. The only very mild complaint I had about it was that it was far too sweet, I'm going to use half the sugar next time I make it. I did add a dash of nutmeg and a lattice top crust, but other than that stuck to the recipe and it wasn't watery. I'm very pleased with how it came out and will be making it again (with a bit less sugar).
