Cherry Pie IV
We have two cherry trees, but they are young & won't be bearing any fruit this year. I had a few pounds of sweet cherries from the Farmer's Market & decided to try my hand at cherry pie. This was the first recipe I tried & there is no need for me to even look for another recipe. This recipe is perfect! I used my own pie crust recipe, just because I am used to making it. The only change I made to the filling recipe was to leave out a bit of the sugar, since I was using sweet cherries and not sour cherries like the recipe calls for. Everyone who tasted this pie LOVED it. I went to the Farmer's Market today and bought six more pounds of cherries so that I can make more pies. Thank you for sharing this recipe! Its now a family favorite.

Portobello Sandwiches
Awesome! Thank you Nicholle! I usually cook these on a grill pan because I just love those grill marks! You can play around with the marinade and the toppings and make this all your own. I happen to love guacamole or aoli on mine. Sometimes I add roasted peppers, cheese, red onions and fresh spinach to my "burger". They are always good no matter how I tweak the recipe. Try these and you will love them. They are also good on artisan bread as a healthy sandwich.

Crab Dip
Love this dip! I have also made it using fresh crab meat (not canned) and or imitation crab meat and it works fine. I sometimes add cayenne pepper or hot sauce to fire it up a bit. We all love this, even the kids!
