Greek Chicken Pasta

Really good and healthy! I did use whole wheat penne for the added healthiness, and as many others did added juice from the artichokes. Needed quite a bit of seasoning but the end result is delicious!

Grandma's Green Bean Casserole

I was so happy that this turned out wonderful!! I did add some french fried onion rings on top of the ritz...b/c I can't see having a green bean casserole without them. This was full of flavor and delicious!

Gingerbread Boy Cookies

These were really good. I took some advice from some other reviews and doubled the ginger and cinnamon. I did burn like half of them :(...be sure you watch them very closely. Mine cooked faster than 7 minutes..more like 6 woulda been perfect.

Cream of Pumpkin Soup

This was good! The reason I didn't rate this 5 stars is b/c the "croutons" got super soggy in the soup and turned to mush and that was unappetizing. I ended up fishing them out and then just dipping the whole bread in it...which was a lot better! Soup had great flavor and crouton bread was delicious!!!

Fried Okra

This is very good with a few changes in my opinion. I did 1/2 flour 1/2 cornmeal. Added a little milk to the egg and a tablespoon of honey as well. I also did a little extra s&p and added some creole seasoning. Turned out great! Great base recipe though!

Irresistible Double Chocolate Muffins

Yum! Very "healthy tasting". Loved the texture, but that's more of a personal preference. My daughter loved them and devoured 3. These will definitely go into our morning rotation!

Spicy Corn Chowder

We loved this!!! It had the perfect spicy/sweet to it! It's a little sweeter than most corn chowders but I think it helps to cut down on some of the heat. I used fat free milk instead of soy, since we don't like it and used vegie stock in place of the wine. The orange zest did not bother me at all. My husband took some leftovers to work last night and said they were even better that way! Thanks for a great recipe!

Apple Pie Sauce

I made this recipe to a T and had problems. I put this on some crepes and the sauce got so hard in a matter of seconds it was unedible. I even warmed it up and dipped right into the bowl and it still started to harden up while I chewed and got so chewy it felt like it was going to pull my fillings out. I'm guessing A LOT less corn syrup...but I don't know...I'm not sure I'll even be attempting this one anymore.

Pumpkin Coffee Ring

Excellent! I omitted the raisins all together (not fans) and sprinkled walnuts only on half the dough. Then when it was ready and drizzled with the glaze I did chopped walnuts on the half with the walnuts inside and whole walnuts on the other so they could get picked off easy...(my husband hate's nuts)..so it was just for the presentation! I thought this would be more difficult than it really was but was surprised by how easy it was. As larkspur said when rolling lift a little to set on the filling or it does collect and you'll end up with a huge amount at the end oozing out. Anyway, super recipe!

Easy Pizza Sauce II

Simple and delicious! All I did to change it was to use fresh basil and oregano (have it in my garden so why not). Would be good with dried as well. Great, easy recipe!

Delicious...the only thing i would do differently is sift the flour. When I stirred it there was clumps of flour that wouldnt break apart. Other than that great!

So good! I mixed in some sauce from a can of chipotle peppers like the other reviewer. It gave it the perfect sweetness and heat. Highly recommend this recipe!

Fish Tacos with Honey-Cumin Cilantro Slaw and Chipotle Mayo

Awesome, awesome, awesome!!!! Yum...I did not fry the fish for health reasons and not only soaked the fish with the honey sauce I also drizzled it over everything in the taco after assembling it! So good and can't wait to make again! Oh, and my husband HATES mayo and he was drizzling that mayo sauce over the white rice I served with this! Haha if he only knew...lol!
