I became a single Mother of one when I was 25. We had to cook cheap. Ten years later I remarried and inherited 4 more children. Now I have learned to cook for an Army.

Christmas traditions. There are certain Dutch treats that I only make at Christmas and it has become a tradition.
My cooking triumphs
My Husband raves about my Chicken Schnitzel with hot german potato salad and cucumber salad for the veggies. He also says I perfected Spaghetti Sauce and my own BBQ Sauce.
My cooking tragedies
I have a hard time with pastries.
