Absolutely PERFECT recipe. I rolled the dough into balls and rolled in sugar before baking. Wish I could give it even more then 5 stars :)

Absolutely fantastic recipe! I used left over pulverized Teddy Grahams that I had leftover ,because they had gone stale, as the crust and used crushed pecans for the nuts because that was what I had on hand.

Chocolate Chip Muffins

Added 1/2 cup sour cream to make them moist. Used chocolate chunks instead of mini chips because it's what I had on hand. Didn't put the sugar on as topping. They were great and my kids loved them.

Chicken with Stuffing

This recipe is fantastic! My family loved it (including my 2 picky children) and it was super easy to make. This recipe is a keep for sure. I used Cream of Mushroom instead of Cream of Chicken because it's what I had on hand.

Cooked in my Crockpot. Added green pepper, added black olive slices, left out the sausage and added macaroni noodles the last hour of cooking. Very good recipe :)

Buffy's Refried Beans

Reviewed: Jun. 9, 2009
I used the general guidlines from this recipe to make refried beans from fresh cooked pinto beans that we had for dinner tonight. I used 45 oz of fresh cooked beans without broth (I cook my pinto beans in chicken broth with a ham bone for flavor). I ran them through my food processor to make them smooth and mixed them in with the 1/2 cup of butter (instead of lard). I cooked them to the paste consistency as stated, added the salt and then mixed in 1 cup of broth from the beans (still warm from cooking them). I then cooked it down to the desired consistency and froze them in 8 oz portions for later use.

Very, very good brownie with a cake like texture. I used 1 1/2 cups Splenda Baking Sweetner instead of sugar and 1 cup Egg Beaters instead of Eggs. Also used whole Pecans for the nuts.

Monterey Chicken Fajitas

Reviewed: May 17, 2009
This recipe was very good. I used Cream of Chicken instead of Cream of Mushroom because it was what I had on hand. I also added 2 tbsp of taco seasoning along with a couple dashes of garlic powder to the pan per other reviews. The plus to this recipe was that I had enough left ,after serving 4 adults, to have a second night. Instead of turning the mixture into fajitas though I added 1 can of corn and 2 cups of cooked rice to it and made it into a Mexican skillet. When served I covered with cheese.

Pat's Dumplings

These were nice dense dumplings like they serve at Cracker Barrel. I loved them. My husband hated them. He asks me now every time I make Chicken and Dumplings whether or not I'm using this recipe, he hated them that bad.

Herb Roasted Chicken and Vegetables

I substituted Bonless Chicken Breast for the Bone in Chicken and An Italian Dressing Packet for the Seasonings. I drizzled Sesame Oil over the Chicken and then covered that in the Dry Dressing and Extra Garlic Salt. Also added onions to the veggies. It turned out VERY yummy this way.

Happy Birthday Cake

This cake was very good. It had almost a cornbread texture but tasted great. I would say however to not use this recipe for cupcakes because there is so much butter in the batter that it makes the cupcake paper VERY greasy.

Crazy Crust Pizza Dough

Best crust I have made thus far. Super easy and tastes great. The only alterations I made were using Italian Seasoning and Garlic Powder. When I made it I spread it out super thin on my Pampered Chef Bar Pan and I thought it might be too thin once cooked but it turned out great. Andrea :)

Easy Pie Crust

I used this crust recipe for a chicken pot pie and it worked wonderfuly for that purpose. It was also very easy to make. I would however cut the salt in half next time because it was a bit too salty.
