Avocado Side Dish
We really enjoyed this dish, and it was so quick and easy to make. I used bowtie pasta instead of angel hair & regular white onion instead of green onion, and we agreed to try it next time using turkey chili to give it more of a kick. Overall very satisfied!

German Potato Salad
This is a great recipe, and I made some variations to make it a quicker recipe: First, I bought already cooked bacon from the salad bar at my local Giant food store; I put the cooked bacon, flour, water, vinegar, green onion, salt, and pepper in a skillet and cooked all together for a few minutes, then poured this heated mixture over the cooked potatoes (this is much easier when making a larger quantity for a party), instead of cooking all with potatoes in a skillet. Also, I use 3/4 white vinegar and 1/4 cider vinegar ... the cider vinegar gives it a bit of a sweeter flavor. Overall, an excellent recipe, and just thought I'd share a few things I stumbled upon in my experimenting : )

Marinated Tuna Steak
This recipe is EXCELLENT. I did it with chicken too, and everyone loved it. Also, I cooked both chicken and tuna in a skillet and let the marinade carmelize to the meat ... very yummy!
