About this Cook
I love to eat and, thus, I love to learn how to make things myself because I want to eat food made MY way. :) I don't like artificial, good grief who knows what that is -and why do they have to put it into a 2 or 3 ingredient recipe- "stuff", and enjoy my family eating simple, good food (not chemicals).
My cooking triumphs
For some reason Thanksgiving dinner comes easy for me to cook. As long as I have the ingredients without having to run out to get them I'm really not stressed at all.
My cooking tragedies
Oh my, its easy to pick this one. I wanted to make mashed potatoes. Simple right? But since I had just purchased a Vitamix Blender I thought -Why don't I try and blend the raw potato with the skin so the skin is mixed in really well and then cook the results. Well the results were a conglomeration of violently offensive smelling GREY mush that gave one a retch reflex when you opened the lid. Did I mention it smelled bad? The whole house received this smell and we shared it with the neighborhood when I put it in the trash. Probably NOT a keeper.

Crunchy Turkey Salad
This recipe is wonderful -I'm trying it with chicken for hubbie's lunch tommorrow. Worth cooking up a turkey just to make it into Crunchy Turkey Salad! Thanks!!

Sweet and Sour Meatballs I
They were a bit sweet -I would recommend cutting back on the grape jelly -possibly in half. I like sweet but these were even sweet for me. But otherwise great, yummy, thanks for the recipe!!
