I realize that I can cook! Great cooks runs in my family, but I never thought that would include me. Now, I'm not great yet; however, I actually enjoy cooking now and feel like I'm on my way. I enjoy other people enjoying my food. My husband and my kids are the best critics. There are too many to name and I'm not sure if I can pick out a favorite Gumbo, chitterlings, and sweet potato pie during the winter holidays. My husband says, no one can make fried chicken and macaroni like I can:) The first time I fried chicken for my then fiance (13 years ago). The Chicken was like rubber, but he still ate it.
