Indian food is a favorite, and also chinese. I like baking very much too, muffins and brownies are a huge favorite with my family and me.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My fiancee enjoys hunting a lot, so we make a lot of elk and deer dishes.
My cooking triumphs
Don't know really... My christmas dinner is always a big hit!
My cooking tragedies
The worst one was when I made chicken and the chili-powder was a little hotter than i knew... I will not make that mistake again!

Farikal
I love farikal! Just a little tip: Most norwegians just sprinkle the pepper between the layers of lamb and cabbage. The taste is much better that way. A little more work to eat it, but well worth it.

Norwegian Pancakes - Pannekaken
In Norway, we always eat these with blueberry jam and/or sugar. That's the traditional way in my family and everyone else I know! And every tuesday is pancake-day:-) Try homemade blueberry jam, that's just wonderful.
