I made this recipe exactly according to the instructions, except that I omitted the nuts and instead used semisweet chocolate chips and dark chocolate chips together. I softened the butter two sticks at a time for fifty seconds in the microwave and it worked perfectly. I used a size 50 melon baller to scoop and it produced a clean bowl and 112 cookies! They are crispy on the outside but soft on the inside and not at all cake-like. I will never make another chocolate chip cookie recipe again.

I did not care for this recipe. First of all, false advertising. The pizza made by this recipe can never resemble the one in the picture - that is clearly dough. Very misleading. Second, I didn't like the taste of the polenta and combined with the rest and the pizza itself never became firm... it was like loose casserole or soup or something. The taste was fine but the entire pizza was a ridiculous wreck.

I was really interested in making this, but it was a complete and total shambles. I followed the directions to a T and both the cookies and the filling did not work for me. They both tasted of nothing but butter - and I mean like biting right into a stick of butter - the filling never set, and the cookies were very dry and crumbly, and stuck to the roof of my mouth. I'm sorry, but I cannot in good conscience recommend this to anybody else.
