About this Cook
I am 23 years old. My husband and I have a 5 year old son and another boy comig in September 2008. I'm a stay at home mom right now,but am in school for photography. I really only cook for my family, but I do enjoy cooking.
My favorite things to cook
I love coming up with new things to make for my family (especially if they like it). My husband is Italian so most of our food involved pasta and chicken. My son will eat anything, myhusband will not eat fruit, mushrooms or salmon. (I love everything)
My favorite family cooking traditions
None eally. We cook meals on holidays, but that's about all.
My cooking triumphs
Getting my son to eat spinach and everytime I time my meals so everything is ready at the same time.
My cooking tragedies
Nothing really tragic. I have overcooked a few things, but noting too memorable.

Oven Fried Chicken III
This recipe was awesome. I had just bought 2 packs of 5 chicken legs bc they were on sale and needed to do something with them. I found this recipe and loved it. Both my kids (6 and 1) ate it up and hubby said I need to make it more often. Thanks, this one is a definite keeper. After the chicken was done cooking at 350 for 45 minutes I increased the temp to 375 and baked for another 15 minutes and the skin was super crispy and delicious.

Super Sausage Gravy
This was really good. I did double the milk and flour, but it needed more seasoning bc it was a little bland. I think if I would have followed exactly the taste would have been great but it would have been to chunky for me. I just added some extra garlic and onion powder while cooking and then more salt and pepper on the plate. My kids (6 and 1) went CRAZY for this.
