About this Cook
I have always eaten what my mamma was used to prepare (usually Neapolitan recipes)and then I was trying to emulate her.since I got married I take a stab at new recipes, especially American ones, because I have 7 cousins living in Oregon and I really love American recipes! My cousing Robin is a perfect chef: she can cook everythimg! first of all she is very clever in cakes decorations. these 2 women (my mamma and my cousin from USA) are my templates. my husband and all my friends say that my cooking is the best, so they risk to assert i am a "chef"!
My favorite things to cook
playing tennis, sea swimming and...cooking!
My favorite family cooking traditions
"sartù di riso"(typical Neapolitan rice pie), potatoes gateau, pasta with mushrooms and truffles, ragù(Neapolitan tomato sauce with meat), caprese salad
My cooking triumphs
Italian Neapolitan recipes,American recipes, many cakes, every kind of pasta!
My cooking tragedies
a burned pizza, a pie with too much noodles

Penne, Tomato, and Mozzarella Salad
the real name for this pasta is: CAPRESE (because it has been cooked up first in Capri island).Instead of pepper it is better to use some oregano, and you will have a less strong flavour if you do not add black olives and parmesan cheese ( the real recipe has not these ingredients).just add a lot of olive oil and...it is ready! this recepe is good hot or cold
