About this Cook
I have been married for twenty years and have four daughters. Over the years, since my husband works in the oil patch and is rarely home, I have found myself concentrating on raising the kids mainly alone. Lately we have moved out of town and have gotten intrested in horses. Needless to say there are seldom boring days around here.
My favorite things to cook
I love to cook new things that involve different twists and turns. It does get intresting. I like cooking one dish meals as well as several course meals. Anything goes.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I was raised by German parents who moved from Europe in the early sixties so many fond traditions stem from real peasant down to earth meals such as peasoup, pork hocks, saurkraut, potatoe pancakes etc...
My cooking triumphs
I think just keeping my family healthy, fit and feed for twenty years can be considered a triumph!!!
My cooking tragedies
Way too many to mention!!!
