Bacon Wrapped Hamburgers

Reviewed: Aug. 28, 2009
Very moist without being meatloafy (and I added the egg). I did cook then crumble the bacon in just to give me piece of mind that it was indeed done. Everything else was made per the recipe. This is my new burger recipe. Thanks!

Stuffed Pork Chops III

Reviewed: Jul. 2, 2009
Very delicious! Had only 3 pork loins so went with that. Used all measurements as prescribed except I used chicken broth instead of beef. The 'chops' were done to perfection (so tender!) by the end. I put the leftover stuffing mix into the skillet with another tablespoon of butter, about a cup more broth, and made a nice gravy. Spooned the gravy on the plate first, put the 'chop' on next and it was amazing. Definitely a keeper. Thanks!

Banana Banana Bread

Amazing! So moist. This is the first and last banana bread recipe I'll try. Made as written and it came out superb. Thanks so much!

French Toast Casserole

Reviewed: Jun. 24, 2009
I made this for a baby shower that was around brunch time and everyone RAVED about it. Sweet enough without being too sweet. Great with or without maple syrup. I doubled the recipe and made it in a 9x13 and even though it didn't look like it was all going to fit, it did. Baked it at the temp recommended for 60 mins. Really great! Highly recommend.

Michelle's Coconut Chicken Curry

Reviewed: Jun. 24, 2009
I didn't have yellow curry powder so I had to substitute red curry paste. I did switch out the cauliflower for the potatoes and carrots, though. I had stir-fry beef instead of chicken on hand so I used that as well. Overall, I felt it was a pretty bland dish. Maybe with all of the suggestions that have been posted it would be better. Good base, though.

Easy Microwave Chocolate Cake

Reviewed: Jun. 24, 2009
I'm only giving it 4 stars because I did add the 1TB cocoa and 1/2 c. sugar instead of what the recipe calls for. But really moist and made enough for 3 servings for me. Great chocolate fix! Thanks!

Ground Beef Lo Mein

Reviewed: Dec. 10, 2008
I thought this was a very creative and delicious way to present a homemade lo mein dish. My family (even my 18 mo. old) ate it up til it was all gone! I definitely will be making this again. Thanks!

Easy Roasted Pork

Reviewed: Nov. 7, 2008
Like others did I first browned the outside (in olive oil) after adding garlic and onion powder, salt, black pepper, and dusting of flour. I doubled the recipe of applesauce, brown sugar, and ginger but had a 1.5 lb roast. Cooked in a tightly covered aluminum foil covered baking sheet. Came out great in the time prescribed. I got compliments all around! Great recipe! Thank you.

Brie Pecan Rollups with Raspberry Sauce

Reviewed: Aug. 16, 2008
I had the worst time trying to make this dish. The cheese mixture would not stay rolled in the chicken at first; but after slapping on a layer of pecans it did. The pecans and raspberry sauce worked well together but I just wasn't a huge fan of the overall dish. Sorry.

Kaese Spaetzle

Reviewed: Jul. 20, 2008
I only made the spaetzle from the recipe but I just wanted to say it was GREAT! I was a little worried about how potent the amount of nutmeg was but it turned out to be a great flavor in the finished dish. Thanks for sharing!

Nikki's Steak Saltimbocca

Reviewed: May 25, 2008
I was first a little hesitant to make this dish because I thought 4 ingredients meant bland taste. But not so at all! I couldn't find prosciutto so I ended up using Canadian Bacon and it was amazing! The fresh sage adds so much depth of flavor to the dish. (And the fried leftover sage was a great garnish.) I used round steaks and pounded them to the appropriate thickness and they turned out great. Thanks so much for sharing this recipe!

Coconut Shrimp I

Reviewed: May 25, 2008
I made everything as stated in the recipe (except I used water instead of beer and didn't chill them at all) with 18 Colossal shrimp and it was AMAZING! Thanks so much for sharing this wonderfully tasty dish.
