I used a little nutmeg and cinnamon and vanilla extract in the batter, like one of the suggestions said. Plus I used more brown sugar in the topping and 2T butter. They were delicious and my husband LOVES them! He never gives anything 5 stars and this was a quick "5!" from him. :-)

Italian Sausage Soup

This was delicious - even in May! I used a little extra broth, double the garlic, and added some chopped mushrooms. Very tasty!

Bombay Chicken and Rice

My husband's not a fan of curry and this didn't convert him, but he did enjoy it as much as he could - he even ate leftovers! I used brown rice and it could have been cooked longer, but I thought it was great!

Sour Cream Pork Chops

I made this when we had a friend over for dinner and I had read the comments beforehand, so I used extra spices and seasonings and I added Cream of Mushroom soup to the pot. I also used extra sour cream. It still came out relatively bland. Wasn't bad, just not as great as I had hoped.

Pecan Pie V

I like that it doesn't have a "jello-like" consistency. It is quick and easy to make and tastes absolutely delicious! Much better than the types made with corn syrup!

Feta Cheese Foldovers

I found it impossible to use the dough! I made some with the regular dough and some with the open shells. Either way, it was difficult and not tasty enough to be worth the hassle... probably won't make this often.

Best Tuna Casserole

I was looking for a recipe to "guide" me with the ingredients I had on hand. What I came up was delicious, so I thank this recipe!!! I only had one can of soup and since people were saying it turned out dry, I added some mayo and some mustard to the bowl. I used rotini noodles and used someone's suggestion of the butter/breadcrumbs because I didn't have chips. It was delicious. Thanks again!

Raisin Buttermilk Coffee Cake

I loved it! I used pecans and cooked it for about 40 minutes. It came out perfectly. Next time I may make 1.5 times the topping, but it's fine with the recommended amount.

Buttermilk Noodle Bake

We loved this recipe. I added garlic and a little bit of crumbled bacon. I also put a small amount of cheese on top. It was creamy and delicious, and my husband (a stroganoff fan) thought this was a definite "re-make"! Thanks!

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

My husband doesn't like many spices/herbs and this was the perfect, flavorful, DELICIOUS recipe! We both loved it and will definitely have it again. I don't like celery and was pleased that I couldn't taste it. I followed the recipe exactly and served it with a little shredded cheddar. Thanks!

Stir-Fried Shrimp and Mushrooms

I had read the previous comment and thought I'd add some seasonings, onions, and white wine to add flavor and it was still pretty dull. I served it over pasta because my husband is getting sick of rice. We love mushrooms so we enjoyed it, but it wasn't a favorite.

Easy Honey Mustard Mozzarella Chicken

I used a "German mustard with white wine" and followed everything as the recipe said. It was EXTREMELY flavorful. I served it over a bed of orzo and it was perfect. Great meal!

Buttermilk Cinnamon Bread
