I'd like to say that I'm a wonderful wife and I'm a great mom of 3 kids. 6-boy, 4-boy, and 16 months-Girl. Yes, I plan to have more kids. I run a daycare out of my home and I go to school full time. Because it's so busy all day in my home anything fast, good, and easy are my favorite. On Sunday's though I like to try to do things more gourmet because Sunday's are my family days. I like to do any recipe that consist of baking or slow cooking. I think mostly because there isn't much to watch for except time. I stress the easy part! We don't have many cooking traditions. We do what is usually in the norm these days. Turkey for Thanksgiving, chilli for Christmas, Ham for Easter. Things like that. My best moment was the first time I cooked a TURKEY!!! My brother bought me one of those portable baking ovens. Just last Thanksgiving I bought my first Turkey, gutted it, spiced it to my own taste, and cooked it. ALL FOR THE FIRST TIME. It was disgusting yet fun at the same time and it turned out GREAT! One time I made spaghetti. Yeah who knew spaghetti would be a tragedy. Well it was. I didn't have the jar spaghetti sauce so I had to make my own. I only had a can of tomato sauce and tomato soup. So I used those and added some spices to make it tasteful. Well as I was concentrating so hard on the sauce, I burned the ground beef. Not all of it so I still used it to add to the sauce and at that same time, I overcooked the noodles. I still used everything to make a plate for my husband and I. He still ate it without complaining. I asked him how it was and all he said was it's the best crunchy spaghetti he ever had. I knew he was meant to be my husband since that day.
