Satiny Chocolate Glaze

Yum! Glazed "Too Much Chocolate Cake" cupcakes for bday party. Dipped top of cakes into glaze to alleviate any messes. Perfect!!

Made cupcakes for daughter's bday. Total hit!! Everyone kept raving. Used Satiny Chocolate Glaze for the cupcakes...to alleviate possible frosting issue, I dipped the tops of the cakes into the glaze. Voila!! Perfect!!

Kielbasa and Cabbage II

I absolutely detest cabbage but hubby wanted me to cook some. So, I found this recipe. I'm now converted -- at least with this recipe...my only suggestions are to add minced garlic in the onion mixture and to also cook the kielbasa for a while first in a separate pan to reduce the amount of grease. It was too greasy for me as written.

It was good; I liked it but I had a TON left over from our Halloween party. Maybe it was just too sweet...I'll definitely make it again but maybe cut the recipe in half.

Sopapilla Cheesecake Pie

I made cookies out of these. I halfed the trianges, rolled them into balls and flattened them out. Then added a dollop of the cream cheese mixture, spread it out and then a generous ball of the sugar/cinnamon/butter. Baked for about 15+ minutes. They turned out great! I made these for a teacher appreciation luncheon and thought they were more presentable in cookie form. Thank you!!

Mama's Asian Chicken and Rice

Hubby loved this one! Marinated cubed chicken in OJ and Teriyaki sauce for about an hour. Added steamed broccoli. Served with Jasmine rice. Great recipe!!

Baked Sweet Potato Sticks

I never really knew that I liked sweet potatoes until now. What a great way to eat them. Make sure to add a little garlic powder and sea salt. Mmmmmm......so, so, so yummy!!!!

Chicken Tetrazzini IV

Sauteed about 2T garlic, a whole diced white onion and one package of fresh mushrooms in the butter. Once onions were soft, I added the flour and stirred to coat. Then I added the chicken broth and fat free 1/2 and 1/2 (instead of the cream). Cooked until thick and then added the chicken and sherry. Then I followed the rest of the recipe as written. Yummy!!! Lots of flavor and not so fattening...thanks!

T's Sweet Potato Fries

These were OK. I prefer "Onion Roasted Sweet Potatoes" which is another recipe for baked sweet potatoes on this site. The texture and flavor are so much better suited for this veggie.

California Grilled Veggie Sandwich

OMG! We are total meat eaters around here, and I thought that I would have some resistance from the hubby. Boy, was I wrong! There were no leftovers. So yummy! We cooked the veggies in foil over the grill - for simplicity and clean up. I will be making this again and again. Who knew veggies could be so good?!?!

Pasta Salad with Homemade Dressing

Love, love, LOVE this recipe. I always add whatever I have on hand...for taste and color factor. Easy to double and make for a crowd. This is a much requested recipe for parties.
